Corvella
Corvella
Sylvért
Corvella is a pure pashmina stole woven from hand-combed Changthangi fibre sourced in Ladakh, at altitudes exceeding 4,500 metres.
Only the ultra-fine down collected during the seasonal moulting of the Changthangi goat is used. This fibre measures between 12–14 microns, placing it among the rarest and finest natural textile materials in existence.
The yarn is hand-spun, hand-woven, and slow-finished by Kashmiri master weavers using traditional loom techniques refined over centuries. No mechanical blending, chemical softening, or industrial shortcuts are employed. The result is a textile of exceptional softness, thermal regulation, breathability, and longevity; materially distinct from standard cashmere.
Annual production capacity is structurally limited by fibre availability, seasonal collection cycles, artisan weaving throughout. This places Corvella among the lowest-volume luxury textiles globally. Calculated at 0.00002% of global textile production, or 1 in 5 million. Corvella is not decorative. It is material heritage, preserved in wearable form.
