Pashmina & Cashmere Blend, Kani-Inspired Weave.
Visserella Navra is woven from a calibrated blend of fine Changthangi pashmina and Grade-A Himalayan cashmere, engineered to balance surface softness, structural stability, and long-term durability.
The textile is produced using a Navra weave, a modern technical evolution of the classical Kani method. Rather than embroidery, the motifs are woven directly into the fabric structure using controlled yarn insertion, producing permanent pattern integration without compromising drape or fibre continuity.
This weaving method:
Preserves surface uniformity
Prevents motif distortion
Enhances textile longevity
Maintains thermal balance
The blend ratio is designed to retain the insulating properties and tactile refinement of pashmina while introducing the tensile resilience and structural support of fine cashmere.
Each piece requires extended loom time, multi-stage tension calibration, and restrained finishing to ensure clarity of pattern, controlled loft, and dimensional stability.
Visserella Navra is not decorative. It is structural textile engineering expressed through traditional form.
