Corvios
Corvios
Sylvért
Corvios is woven from pure Changthangi pashmina, hand-combed during the seasonal moulting cycle of Himalayan high-altitude goats in Ladakh.
The fibre is organically dyed, hand-spun, and loom-woven under controlled tension to preserve filament length, surface clarity, and thermal regulation. No mechanical blending or chemical softening is employed.
The stole is then completed using full Jaal needlework, a labour-intensive Kashmiri embroidery technique in which dense motif fields are constructed entirely by hand.
This embroidery:
Requires extended artisan labour
Introduces complex surface depth
Permanently integrates pattern into the textile
Preserves drape and fibre integrity
The embroidery threads are dyed using vegetable-based pigments, maintaining colour stability while avoiding chemical saturation of the base fibre.
Each Corvios piece requires:
Multi-week weaving and embroidery cycles
Sequential artisan handling
Controlled finishing
This severely constrains production volume.
Corvios is not decorative. It is heritage-level textile construction executed at its highest technical tier.
